An Interview With Jesus Christ – Truth And Love

I interviewed Jesus about a few things. At the time I wrote this down, it was the longest responses I’ve gotten where He allowed me to write everything down, word for word.

I’m going to share what with you what Jesus told me.

The red letters that you’ll see will be what He said (which will be most of the writing in this post).

The red letters are neither my “good ideas” nor “my assumptions” of what He might say, but they are His answers to my questions.

I’m grateful that He allowed me to interview Him, writing down His exact words.

So, let’s get started.

Jesus, tell me about Your truth.

I am My Father’s heart to the world, pulling them out of the pit and into the light.

(After I heard this, my heart felt hot).

Bitterness is a cold fire. It snuffs out love.

Tell me of Your love Jesus, King Jesus.

The Love of My Father is a raging fire. It burns brighter in the hearts of men as time goes on.

The wickedness of men pulls down strongholds.

It fortifies the inside of their heart against God’s love. It is a barricade, both offensive and defensive.

It fights against the love of God, and it guards their hearts from it. It builds up walls against having faith in God. It neutralizes the gospel in their hearts and causes it to be of no effect.

I have setup the hearts of man to be love. Wickedness uproots it. It defiles it and corrupts it. Like a leaky faucet, love pours out, but it doesn’t get refilled.

The only thing that remains is hatred.

They want the thing that they’re pushing away, and that is God’s love. They want God’s love, because that’s how I made their heart… to receive His love.

The enemy crowds out their heart. The enemy is not flesh and blood.

They want freedom, but they don’t want Me. They push away Me, and I set them free.

This causes inner turmoil.

They want freedom, but they want control. They want to make it safe in their eyes, but they have to let go of control and realize that I make it safe.

I know how I made them in the beginning, and I know what’s best for them.

Jesus, how do You set the hearts on fire?

I envision the way I made them to be. Then, I set up situations and circumstances to show them My Father’s heart.

It burns in them. It picks at them, causing the hard hearts to soften. Then love takes root and begins to grow.

It begins to stir in them, until they’re faced with the opposition that’s overtaken their heart.

This causes the conflict.

They must either snuff out love, or seek Me with everything they’ve got.

Once on fire, it can only be snuffed out by the enemy taking root again. That’s when they let bitterness in, and love grows cold.

Then, their heart is hardened.

Jesus, how does one remain on fire and protect the heart from growing cold?

In the beginning, God made man. It’s relationship.

(I saw, and remembered that God walked with Adam and talked with him).

Communication and connection to the heart of God. His love flows out and it pours into the hearts of man.

Communion with the Lord as it was meant to be. Fellowship with the brethren. No separation.

Fashionable, yet uprooted, is the heart of man. People deny Me by taking offense. They lose their heart that God gave them in the beginning.

The wonders of love comes from God above, but their love grows colder with every offense.

Here are a few things that stood out to me…

It is a barricade

The spikes aim inward at the heart, because love hurts to express from a bitter heart. Their heart gets poked when it reaches out to try and love, because they’re reminded of the pain. So, they shut down. The spikes aim outward to prevent love from making its way in.

“There’s no way I’m letting someone get that close to me again! I need to protect myself. Closeness hurts.” – The Bitter Heart

They no longer express love, because they chose to shut off access to being re-filled. It now turns to selfish desires to fill the gaping hole in their heart that only love can fill.

Fashionable, yet uprooted, is the heart of man.

This is tragic in that it looks good on people to wear bitterness, unforgiveness, and offense as a garment, and throw off the garments of praise, Christ, and mercy.

“Am I not right in my bitterness? Let me tell you how bitter and offended I am, so you can wear my bitterness and offense, too! We can team up together, and look good in our self-justification to maintain offense.

Rally around me, because I’m a victim, and we should take vengeance into our own hands so the hole in my heart will be filled. They caused me pain, so let’s all give double back with words as swords to pierce their heart, and tongues as whips to their back. It’s time to ruin their reputation!” – The Bitter Heart

Ugh, let’s not go there.

Let’s remember to put on Christ (Romans 13:4, Galatians 3:27), the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3), and bless our enemies (Romans 12:14, Luke 6:27, 6:28, 6:35, Matthew 5:44).

It’s Relationship. Fellowship with the brethren. No separation.

When we keep first things first, our relationship with God will satisfy us completely. Our fellowship with the brethren will be made known by how we love one another (John 13:35). We are united in the body, Spirit, and truth (John 17:21, 1 Corinthians 12:13).
